Shurwin produced and directed this episode of the long running tv series, ‘Classic Albums’, for Sky Arts and Mercury Studios. Featuring the godfather of rap, Gil Scott Heron. The album in question was his seminal first music album from 1971, ‘Pieces Of A Man’. With contributions from his best friend and the albums co-writer, Brian Jackson, as well as notables like Chuck D, Ursula Rucker and Gregory Porter.
